Network Ireland was founded in 1983 and today has branches throughout the country.
Our theme for this year is 'Working on your business not in your business'. Most businesspeople are so busy working for their business or in their business that they never find time to work on their business. But what about people who are employed? What about working on your career? Most people don't spend enough time developing career goals. Experts tell us that we should spend time assessing our own personalities, skills and interests, our likes and dislikes, and our strengths and weaknesses; identifying aspects of our present and past jobs that will help us determine our career goals for career advancement.
Representing Career Women
Network Ireland's membership is an excellent representation of career women in Ireland today and includes women owned businesses; women in the financial and banking sector; senior managers in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector; women in engineering and the environment; the crafts and the arts; the horticulture sector and the technology sector.
Many of our members are major players in the field of enterprise, trade and employment and active policy makers and implementers in local and central government.
Support & Confidence Building Organisation
Network Ireland is unique in the fact that it is a support and confidence building organisation for women starting in business, the professions and the Arts.
They can develop and pool their individual skills through interaction with other women in a supportive environment which offers, training, mentoring and an opportunity for women who call on other women with specialist expertise for help.
The organisation has the core aim of developing members to their full professional and personal capacity through training.
